"Even if you haven't encountered great success yet,
there is no reason you can't bluff a little and act like you have.
Confidence is a magnet in the best sense of the word.
It will draw people to you and make your daily life. . . a
nd theirs. . . a lot more pleasant."
~Donald J. Trump

Don't get hooked on win-win
"If you limit your choices only to what seems possible or reasonable,
you disconnect yourself from what you truly want, and all that is left is compromise."
~Robert Fritz
The point here is to stop trying to "help" everyone by discounting your fee and giving them a "deal."
The win for them is already there if you have a great service. You don't have to add a new win for them on top of that win.
If who you are is great, they have already won by sitting down with you. You don't have to add to their win by cutting some financial deal with them, and by helping them out of money mismanagement. If you're in a negotiation for any contracted services, you don't have to keep pushing money over to the other side of the table to help them out, and then cover it with thinking you're trying to go for a "win-win."
Because if what you have is valuable, they've already won. They're coming in with a win; you don't have to add to that. You need to stand proud and allow yourself to win, too, because they've already won just because they're doing business with you.
Jim Camp, America's greatest negotiation coach, who wrote the masterpiece Start With No, insists that good negotiators avoid win-win. It makes better sense for both parties (and it guarantees better service) when you always sell yourself for what you're really worth.
In most cases "win-win" should be re-labeled as "I chickened out" and just gave them a deal because I really "needed" to make it. I caved. I linked money to survival. I thought it was a need. "Win-win" is usually code for "wuss-wuss."
This UNKNOWN TRUTH is one of the hundreds of game-changers that will occur in the wealth-creation money mastermind Michael Neill and I are delivering this year. http://www.stevechandler.com/financially_fearless.html

MY WAGE
I bargained with Life for a penny,
And Life would pay no more,
However I begged at evening
When I counted my scanty store;
For Life is a just employer,
He gives you what you ask,
But once you have set the wages,
Why, you must bear the task.
I worked for a menial's hire,
Only to learn, dismayed,
That any wage I had asked of Life,
Life would have paid.
McCain.Why?1) More relevant eiperxence2) Better plan for the economy -lower taxes is proven to stimulate a recession3) We love Sarah Palin as V. P.4) NRA gun control5) Better forward thinking energy policy drilling in gulf, nuclear plants and no taxes fines on automakers who are already struggling,6) no redistribution of wealth and policies that violate American way of life/thinking.7) scared of Obama and his socialistic/marxist thinking. Do not like Pelosi and Democrats tax and spend philosophy.9) want to keep businesses strong and free form excessive costly regulation10) want to stimulate jobs11) do not want to encourage handouts12) do not want democratic house, senate and white house. all three would be out of control13) some would vote for better family values14) We want less government15) We want less government intrusion and control16) We want freedom17) We think Obama's pro union stance and new regs will cost jobs.18) We think Obama's pro minimum wage stance and new regs will cost jobs.19) We think Obama's ending the secret ballot stance will cost jobs if you do not vote the way OBAMA thinks you should and the ballot is no longer secret you will lose your job.20) We think Mccain has more eiperxence for foreign policy21) We think McCain has better idieas for intelligent environmentalism.22) McCain is going to have a spending freeze and will seek to have a more efficient Government.23) Palin said they were going to balance the budget by the end of their first term24) Obama has voted for tax hikes 94 times..so we don't believe he will change now.25) McCain can work across the aisle better with both parties.26) because of Joe the Plumber exposing the wealth redistribution plan of Obama which takes money and costs jobs.etc.
